Izakaya Kikufuji, Japanese in Little Tokyo

Try the wagyu stick! However, it was hard for us to get the attention of the servers and the food takes a lot of time.

This trip to Kikufuji took us 2 hours on the road (we came from QC) and 1 hour in line. The place was packed! And for good reason. The food is really good! I think its simple here, order Sashimi and Gyu Kushi! The Gindara Teriyaki was also very good! I thought the Nigiri was so-so only. (But I had really high expectations). Contrary to my previous trip here, service was much better. The place seems a little old, but it's okay. Price is pretty good, you get what you pay for and the serving sizes are decent. All in all I would say it was worth the wait.
